Salam International Transport & Trading Co. PLC (SITTCO) has been awarded two contracts in the field of oil and gas in June 2011 by British Petroleum (BP). BP is among the top 5 biggest Oil and Gas companies across the world. The Government of Jordan has established a concession agreement with BP for the exploration of natural gas in the Risha Area (North-east of Jordan) via the establishment of 5 Rig Pads of potential gas wells.
The first SITTCO contract entails the provision of Construction and Life Support services, whereby SITTCO Construction Team is constructing all the necessary foundations for the Rig locations to allow BP operations teams to carry out their exploration and extraction activities. Furthermore, SITTCO is providing full catering, accommodation and medical services to BP while on site.
The second contract includes the provision of Logistics Services, having the SITTCO Logistics Team conduct full supply chain services by transporting, monitoring and controlling all BP pipes, equipment and cargo from across the Kingdom.
SITTCO is operating under BP and International standards and best practices, implementing high quality services along with full Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) support.
SITTCO has over 100 employees of different positions along with the support of over 50 vehicles of various sizes servicing this project, with the privilege of being pioneers and leaders in the oil & gas sector in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
